Now that I see them together, they really aren't THAT similar...I don't know what my deal is with them! They have both been in such great movies - I really should try harder to keep them straight. I mean, Ghostbusters (2 is the best one)?! Avatar? Good flicks.
Burt Reynolds and Tom Selleck
Ok. I know what you're thinking - it's the mustache! Well...as much as I hate to admit it, maybe you're right. Reynolds (of Smokey and the Bandit fame) is 9 years older and - have you SEEN Burt Reynolds lately? He is really starting to scare me. He's definitely spent some time "under the knife", if ya know what I mean. Selleck, on the other hand, is aging well and after looking at them side-by-side, I much prefer the Magnum PI guy.
Meryl Streep and Glenn Close
On second thought...does ANYONE compare to Meryl Streep? But seriously though, they really to look alike, don't they? Sorry, Glenn...looks like that might be ALL you have in common with her - the ever so lovely Meryl Streep holds the record for most Academy Award noms of any actor - 16 of 'em since 1979! That's impressive!

I know what you mean. I think the same thing every time I see a movie with Isla Fisher or Amy Adams, I have to look at the case or the credits to tell which one it is.
They used to confuse me as a kid too.
